Short status from the team Tuesday: We're on Stora Dimun now. Arrived at 16:20 after an easy 22 km paddle. Much time spent talking with nice people, and we felt the rush of history as tales of previous kayak expeditions were told. Look at www.storadimun.fo for more info. The GPS is in the kayak, a 10 minute climb below our camp, so no accurate position today.

Living close to Klitmøller (also known as "Cold Hawaii"), Jesper Tilsted and Tue Olesen enjoy a good kayak surf session in the chilly waves of the danish west coast.
They have been teaching sea kayaking courses in Fjeldgruppen, an association of danish scouts specialising in mountaineering and outdoor courses.
The circumnavigation of the Faroe Islands will be their first major kayak expedition, and will set forth new challenges, particularly in terms of trip planning and navigation of tidal waters.
